Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited is the oldest Ship Repair Yard. For over 200 Years the Company has provide ship repair support to ships calling at Bombay Port, Indian Shipping fleet and even vessels needing repairs from distant foreign countries.
MDL is providing ship repair support to foreign vessels and growing Indian fleet- Naval, Merchant, Port, Fishing, Coast Guard, ONGC vessels and others. MDL once again restarted repair work activities after two decades.
MDL Repair &Refit activities are re-started since 2019, as on date MDL has successfully completed 26 ship’s repairs & refit activities, out of these 26 ships, IN Vessels are 01 No, ICGS Vessels are 04 Nos, Commercial vessels are 17 Nos & Foreign Flag Vessels are 04 Nos.
MDL has successfully provided yard services & berth facilities for Repairs & Refit of Commercial vessels with extra efforts and co-operation from all the concerned departments.
